Tech giant Google has launched an open agent-to-agent protocol called Agent2Agent (A2A) that enables AI agents to communicate securely. The protocol aims to improve AI interoperability and was shaped by Google’s experience in scaling agentic systems. Over 50 technology partners and leading service providers supported and contributed to the development of A2A.
